International Astronautical Congress 2025
The IAC is the one place and time of the year where all global space actors come together. The event attracts more than 6,000 participants each year. Covering all space sectors and topics, it offers everyone the latest space information and developments in academia and industry, networking opportunities, contacts and potential partnerships. The 76th International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2025 is hosted by Space Industry Association of Australia (SIAA) and co-hosted by Australian Space Agency and NSW Government.
The theme of IAC Sydney 2025 is “Sustainable Space: Resilient Earth” which will set the stage for important discussions such as: space-based application for earth; sustainable space activities; and sustaining life off earth.

Penn State SETI Symposium
The third SETI Symposium, presented by the Penn State Extraterrestrial Intelligence Center, will be hosted at the Penn Stater Hotel and Convention Center on August 18–21, 2025.

AbGradCon2025 – The Astrobiology Graduate Conference
The Astrobiology Graduate Conference focuses on supporting early-career researchers engaged in the multifaceted and varied subjects within the realm of astrobiology. Organized by graduate students, AbGradCon aims to advance the scientific endeavors of emerging astrobiologists while encouraging teamwork, hands-on training, and a sense of community. The conference aspires to cultivate a more inclusive and interdisciplinary environment in the astrobiology field, enhance collaboration, and offer practical learning opportunities for budding scientists.
MA space week 2025: Life in the Universe
Massachusetts Space Week, held by “The space consortium“, is an event celebrating the state’s contributions to space exploration, technology, and education. Following the main theme of the event, life in the Universe, to the attention of the participants will be presented various events dedicated to the space exploration, including workshops, lectures and talks by prominent figures in the space industry, various exhibitions, stargazing nights, science fairs and family-friendly activities. It is also a great opportunity to interact with representatives of such leading scientific centers as NASA, MIT and Harvard.

Swan Hellenic’s 2025 SETI Institute Space Voyages
This unique partnership of Swan Hellenic with the SETI Institute offers nine exciting cruises, each led by an esteemed scientist from the institute. These voyages give guests a deeper understanding of astronomy, astrophysics, planetary science, and the quest for life beyond Earth.
Each cruise in the series will feature a SETI Institute scientist who will guide passengers through thought-provoking lectures and discussions, covering a wide range of topics from solar phenomena to astrobiology.

Lunar and Planetary Science Conference 2025
The 56th Lunar and Planetary Science Conference (LPSC) will be held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center in The Woodlands, Texas and virtually on March 10–14, 2025. LPSC is a defining event in planetary research, bringing together a diverse group of international experts in a truly collaborative environment. For 56 years, LPSC has been convening the lunar and planetary science community to showcase the latest science, research, and discoveries in the field.

KAVLI-IAU SYMPOSIUM (IAUS 387)
A 5-day symposium on the theme “Discovery of Life Beyond Earth and its Impact”. Organized with the support of the International Astronomical Union (IAU), the Kavli Foundation, Durham University, 4wardFutures and the Breakthrough Initiatives.

Breakthrough Discuss 2023
Breakthrough Discuss 2023 was held on June 28-29, for the second time at UC Santa Cruz as well as online, co-hosted by the African Astronomical Society, Caltech, NASA’s Ames Research Center, the SETI Institute, the University of Arizona, UC Santa Cruz, UC Berkeley, the University of Manchester and the University of Oxford Department of Physics. Under the banner “Welcome to the Neighborhood,” the event brought together leaders in astronomy, space science, engineering and other fields to debate new ideas close to home: how near-Earth locations can advance the search for extraterrestrial intelligence; new ways to look for potentially habitable exoplanets in our cosmic back yard; and how human technology could reach nearby stars.
